Foruncular acne is also known as boils, and a group of boils is called a carbuncle. Honey similarly has antibacterial properties, so a thin layer of it on the boil a few times a day should help. Other stories say that an icthammol-based lotion may work to cure the foruncular acne , or a bath in epsom salts.
